The Financial Analyst will assist in the financial planning, reporting and analysis for the Health LRP business. This role will be focused on revenue, forecasting and sales analysis across products as well as identifying business opportunities that drive growth. The individual must be a self-starter and work with limited direction while taking full ownership of their areas of responsibility. They will be expected to problem solve, recommend solutions, and exercise good business judgement.



Additional Responsibilities include:



+ Business support for the Medical Education and Practice (sub-segment) business leadership along with overall support of the Professional and Education business.

+ Provide quantitative-based recommendations that support revenue growth targets.

+ Prepare, analyze and present financial results, as necessary.

+ Prepare financial reports and revise reports to be more useful and efficient through automation or other technology.

+ Month-end financial close responsibilities and review for all areas of responsibility.

+ Partner with Finance and Accounting teams across the Health LRP to develop the forecast; ensure collaboration and coordination with key stakeholders.

+ Anticipate opportunities and risks in the forecasts and effectively communicate them.

+ Analyze financial and business performance against business metrics and document pertinent highlights that enable management to determine progress against strategic/business plans.

+ Monitor and analyze results against budget and provide insightful and actionable variance explanations.

+ Support and partner with teams in planning, measuring, reporting and improving performance of operations and reducing cost where necessary.

+ Participate in cross functional teams and projects.



Education:



+ Bachelors of Science with a concentration in Finance or Data Science, related field or equivalent experience required

+ MBA and/or CPA, preferred



Required Experience



+ Minimum of 3 years' experience, in data or finance

+ Ability to work well in a team; and a commitment to continuous quality improvement



Preferred Experience:



+ Proficiency in ERP Financial software such as Great Plains, SAP or Essbase/Hyperion

+ Experience working in a large global company

+ Proficient in MS Office Suite with advance knowledge of Excel

+ Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to think strategically

+ Exceptional organization skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities with accuracy and timeliness in a dynamic fast-paced environment

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
