General Function:

The Director of Marketing must be self-motivated and a results-driven individual. He/she will provide leadership in the development and delivery of marketing campaigns and analytics to support Western CPE in its mission to provide continuing education to financial professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the effective design, implementation, and optimization of marketing content across all marketing channels including the use of marketing automation strategies and the development of customer targeting and personalization tactics
  • Lead in the design, development, creation, and maintenance of standardized dashboards and operational analysis that measure the effectiveness of the various marketing campaigns
  • Establish KPIs during campaign planning; monitor and adjust messaging to meet stated goals
  • Lead in development of Google Ads
  • Determine the most effective channels (i.e. print, email, social, web, digital advertising, etc.) that support the project budgets, sales and marketing objectives and timelines
  • Serve as advisory role to company leadership on all managerial and regulatory decisions regarding content marketing
  • Conduct planning meetings for each marketing campaign outlining the expected effectiveness and goals
  • Conduct de-briefings after each marketing campaign to determine its effectiveness in meeting the establish goals and determine what future changes are needed
  • Provide strategic direction in developing and implementing lead acquisition programs
  • Develop on-going research and determine the trends in all marketing media
  • Collaborate with company leadership in vetting, selecting, and implementing any new systems to move the company toward a more customer-centric focus, improve business intelligence and positively impact sales revenue
  • Possess and apply excellent project management and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues, vendors and senior management to drive refinement and improvements throughout the sales and marketing channels

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or relevant field, or the equivalent of education and experience; Masters Degree Preferred
  • At least five (5) years of direct experience in content marketing and digital channel marketing
  • Strong understanding of digital applications platforms
  • Experience developing Google Ads
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute projects with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically; comfortable doing both kinds of work
  • Knowledge of current trends in print and digital content marketing
  • Demonstrated experience using hard data and metrics to measure performance and determine improvements
  • Team player and demonstrate leadership skills
  • Astute attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to be held accountable and work in a totally accountable workplace
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple priorities and meaningful results
  • Passion for innovation
