We are looking for a talentedEmail Marketing Manager to lead and support our email marketing efforts. You will be responsible for the overall email marketing strategy including planning, cross-functional leadership, and overall communication strategy across Email, SMS, App Push Notifications and other messaging channels. You will align to our brand guidelines in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.
AsEmail Marketing Manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and best practices. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to curate the Venus experience throughout the various communication threads (acquisition, activation and reactivation). An ideal candidate also enjoys complex problem solving, and thrives on owning the process and strategies.
Ultimately, you should be able to lead our email marketing execution ensuring high levels of customer engagement and growth of audience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following. Others duties may be assigned:
Continue developing the long-term Email/Messaging Marketing strategy with the goal of driving new subscribers, reach, and engagement through our various email threads and other messaging channels (SMS, App Push, Browser Push, etc.) cultivating relationships and sales, preventing churn.
Own email performance and strategically meet or exceed aggressive targets for top line growth.
Take responsibility for forecasting, reporting, and analysis. Present results to executives and team members regularly.
Leverage data and analytics to ideate, develop, and implement personalized marketing campaigns across email, SMS, App being sensitive to audience preferences on touchpoints/medium, products, and cadence.
Lead the creation of shareworthy/contagious content aligned with Brand vision. For the channels of responsibility, maintain consistency of content and voice across all brand touch points including, but not limited to; Social, Catalog, Blog, Press Releases, Email, On-site, App, etc.
Support brand awareness and online reputation.
Oversee data-driven personalization to incorporate personalized product recommendations, product category affinities, and other behavioral data into trigger, lifecycle, as well as batch campaigns.
Develop a shared editorial calendar to coordinate publishing schedules.
Grow email audience through targeted promotions.
Inspire, empower, and support the email marketing team to hit overall marketing department goals. Align with cross-functional teams to collaborate on the organization s strategic initiatives and achieve desired results.
Work closely with the Manager of Email Operations to leverage partnerships with vendors. Ensure that messaging can be managed seamlessly across communication touchpoints.
Work closely with product, planning, creative/brand, web merchandising, UI/UX, social media, SEO, customer service, and technology teams.
Consistently push innovation with ongoing testing of existing and emerging technology and opportunities. Continually leverage new tools& industry best practices to be a leader in email marketing.
Analyze and monitor competitive landscape.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to manage a fast-pace, often pivoting work load
Excellent creative writing skills
Expertise creating consumer-facing content
Knowledge of photo/video editing software a plus
Proficient use of Microsoft Office products especially Excel and Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Communication software: Slack, Skype4Business
Experience with enterprise-level ESP (e.g. Watson Campaign Automation)
Familiarity with various web analytic platforms (Google Analytics, IBM Digital Analytics, OWA Pro) and the ability to generate custom reports. Experience with Qlik is a plus.
Experience with leading an online marketing team, mentoring, professional development, and succession planning.
Effective communication skills including the ability to deliver reports and presentations to executives and other non-SME audiences in a clear and concise manner.

EDUCATION& EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in marketing, economics, or business
5+ years experience in digital marketing.
3+ years leadership experience.

Leveraging customer LTV segments
Servant Leadership: managing several direct reports and working well across many multi-disciplinary teams
Fashion/Apparel Retail, E-commerce, and Digital Marketing
Analytics, reporting and forecasting
Marketing automation
Direct/catalog marketing experience a plus
