Capacity PlanningData Science Engineer III Primary Location Denver, Colorado V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking a Capacity PlanningData Science Engineer III for our premier client in Denver Colorado. This is a contract position in the telecommunications industry WHAT YOU LL NEED Education and Experience Experience in performance engineering or capacity engineering. Demonstrated experience or strong foundational understanding (exhibited in resume) in Data Science Machine Learning algorithms Experience and overall familiarity with programing principles and best practices Database experience Experience working with cross-functional teams Experience in applied data analysis, particularly in applied predictive modeling and statistical analysis solving descriptive, predictive and ideally prescriptive analytics use cases Experience with version control platforms (git, svn, etc.). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to apply knowledge of statistical and mathematical principles to achieve and demonstrate successful use case outcomes Analytical, budgeting and planning experience Effectively communicate both orally and in writing with adaptability to various levels of knowledge and seniority Strong attention to detail and Strong analytical skills Working knowledge of Video, networking, IT industry and related technologies Familiarity with cloud computing and big data technologies. WHAT YOU LL DO Job Responsibilities Tackle the state-of-the-art hardware performance issues Analyze and debug difficult server performance issues, identify bottlenecks and optimize productservice performance to improve user experience Create monitoring, reporting, data-mining tools to do performance and capacity- related tests and analysis Build descriptive, predictive and prescriptive capacity models using data from multiple technical domains Provide deepest visibility to what is going on for all products Run capacity and performance experiments to determine scaling and utilization parameters for various components and end to end services Identify capacity-related issues proactively and work with systems, network, application operations and engineering teams to discover resolutions Work with Product Engineering, Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering, and Data Engineering teams to find the optimal way to scale the infrastructure V-Soft Consulting is a trusted partner with experience across diverse technology stacks to help business get IT done.
