The Corporate Information Technology Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Associate Application Analyst - Behavioral Health.

The Associate Application Analyst - Behavioral Health works with facility users, vendors, and corporate staff to address business information requirements and solve related problems through the implementation and support of IS technologies and business practices. Participates in on-site or online training, implementations, user advisory meetings and tasks forces. Assists with the implementation of software enhancements and modifications. Troubleshoots and resolves ongoing issues within the business applications and environments.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Working with experienced staff, provides direct training to users in business applications, as well as supports trainers in the field.
  • Provides on-site support for the implementation of the business applications, including project task lists and implementation plans.
  • Provides support and monitors assigned facilities; responds to user based questions, tickets and training requests; and follows-up based on variations in usage.
  • Troubleshoots system and application problems, including hardware and software issues as needed. Monitors the resolution of maintenance and enhancement issues assigned by the UHS Customer Support Center.
  • Provides ongoing communication with users, managers, corporate directors and vendors to assure support and continual understanding of current initiatives and process within the business applications.
  • Participates in user groups and project teams, convenes conference calls and meetings, and maintains minutes and follow-up logs.
  • Provides on-call assistance as requested, for after-hours issues and support needs.

Job Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • This position requires an Associate s degree in a Business, Technology or HIM related field. No working experience is required, up to one year of experience would enhance the skills and abilities necessary to perform this job.
  • 1 year experience working in an Information Technology environment is preferred but not required, with hands-on computer experience. Experience working in a health care environment is a plus.
  • Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and email software applications.
  • A quick learner of software and information technology, and motivated to learn new applications and business operations.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication skills and documentation skills, among facility customers and team members.
  • Demonstrates customer-oriented service excellence principals, as outlined in UHS corporate standards.
  • Self-disciplined, able to work independently, but also able to take direction when necessary.
  • Self-motivated to identify and resolve issues, and in advancing personal knowledge.
  • Very organized and detail-oriented.
  • Flexible with time.

Travel Requirements: 40-50% domestic travel
