Responsibilities

  • Travel and efficiently implement project interventions, by conducting small group instruction, in various school settings.
  • Provide reports to the Project Director regarding project needs and status of project-related tasks.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with various levels of research partners and research staff.
  • Assist Project Director with administrative duties related to project implementation.
  • Support Project Director proxies on assessment team as needed.
  • Required Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree. Six months or equivalent of experience assisting in the implementation of a research plan for a research study or professional equivalent. One year or equivalent of experience working with students in elementary, middle, and/or high schools. One year or equivalent of experience working with reading intervention(s). Basic knowledge of the standards of conducting research. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be willing to travel to school sites in and around Austin and Hutto.

    Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Two or more years of experience assisting in the implementation of a research plan for a research study or professional equivalent. Two or more years of experience working with students in elementary, middle, and/or high schools. Two or more years of experience working with reading intervention(s). Two years or equivalent of coursework related to research practices. One or more years of experience managing staff or a team. Professional or coursework experience may apply as determined by hiring committee. Spanish & English bilingual.

    Salary Range

    $40,000
