This role will primarily work with the output of QSE 8 Consent Decree Work steps for Mfg. Ops Materials and Components, specifically QSE 8 step 12. The primary deliverable will be to execute the planning relevant BOM remediation activities for External Manufacturing NT BOMS.
The Individual will be largely self sufficient, but will work with Consent Decree Leadership and Company Planning Staff to drive remediation to completeness. The individual will be proficient in SAP, EtQ, cMat, and other systems shared within the company. This individual will work with process owners, QSE team leads, partners, and other Quality and IT functions, to document process changes, provide expert guidance to execute remediation activities, and work with other functional teams to analyze if and how SAP can be used to enhance controls and improvements in business processes. This will require managing/understanding multiple interrelated work threads and rationalizing specific solutions to assure process effectiveness.
This process will include, but not be limited:
Provide Remediation Timeline to track tasks and deliverables.
Execute all BOM Remediation tasks, scope currently under 100 BOMS.
- The above includes: daily workflow reviews, resolving issues and bottlenecks, and driving to approval.
Continuously manage business partner expectations.
Providing written updates including status reports, progress reports, and documentation to leadership.
Support knowledge transfer to business partners.
He/she will rely on a robust body of knowledge related to systems and business processes to successfully deliver the remediation.
A minimum of 10 years of relevant Business and SAP experience in manufacturing and/or quality systems is required.
Previous QSE experience is highly preferred.
Job Knowledge/Skill Set:
Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing and other cross functional business processes.
Individual needs the ability to communicate the complex in a clear way so as to influence and drive collaboration across multiple organizations.
Must have the ability to effectively manages the change process.
