Job Description

The Senior Manager, Site and Content Strategy is responsible for the strategic development and execution of onsite advertising and content and the overall performance related to TDBank.com across all lines of business. This includes the work related to advertising on TD Bank public and secure sites and content throughout TD Bank public site responsible for elevating both to best-in-class levels. This role will be essential in driving forward our owned site agenda and developing a comprehensive content strategy that will have impacts across multiple parties, to ensure were delivering personalized and legendary experiences. The Senior Manager, Site and Content Strategy will be responsible for liaising with various departments to keep all partners apprised of the path forward that is being carved by the Digital Marketing team.

Requirements

Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required
Defines TD Bank owned web properties marketing strategy and maximizes the effectiveness of owned campaigns
Drives personalized experiences, and makes owned channel a sales driver for new-to-bank and existing customers, taking into account the ad + content strategy in the customer journey evolution
Defines onsite marketing (advertising & content) strategy and leads marketing and content optimization initiatives for public sites
Builds ad placement strategy and works with cross-functional partners to advance ad capabilities
Measures campaign results and identifies ways to optimize marketing campaign performance across customer journeys
Partners with paid leads to connect our paid advertising to our onsite experiences and develops best in class full funnel digital marketing efforts
Partners with our Digital Channels, Capabilities and Analytics teams to deliver full-cycle marketing strategies and plans
Manages a team of site advertising and content strategy & activation owners
Provides executive updates and manages evangelization of onsite strategy and capability roadmap to partners
Monitors industry trends and the competitive landscape, providing thought leadership and direction to ensure TDs digital marketing strategies evolve to best in class and create competitive advantage
Drives thoughtful analytics into all digital marketing efforts
Builds for the future and provides people leadership; oversees people plans and strategies to attract, motivate and retain a highly diverse, qualified and engaged team to fulfill current and future business needs
  • Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.
  • Qualifications

    Bachelors degree required
    7+ years experience required
    Demonstrated knowledge of financial industry digital marketing techniques
    Demonstrated knowledge of full range of digital marketing resources and media
    Proven project and vendor management skills
    Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and implement marketing strategies to support business goals
    Proven verbal and written communication skills, specifically public speaking
    Proven experience with presenting in front of executive audience
    Management experience required; ability to influence others without authority
    Proven organizational, interpersonal and negotiating skills
    Excellent relationship management, thought-leadership, strategic, analytical and communication skills
    Strong business acumen and business consulting skills
    Thinks strategically and translates into pragmatic implementation plans with measurable outcomes
    In-depth knowledge of marketing strategies and a demonstrated ability to apply them
    History of making an impact, developing and executing on strategies and delivering superior results in both the short and long term
    Demonstrated business acumen understanding business from the ground up and the key levers that will deliver superior results
    Proven leadership both the ability to effectively work in teams across an organization with multiple stakeholders and to influence and align others
    Demonstrated collaboration, partnering, and influencing capabilities
    Confident when interacting with and influencing senior management
    Demonstrated PC proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    Ability to manage multi-tactic campaigns and complex projects
