THE POSITION This critical position will be accountable for successfully develop, implement and follow up on both short term and long term global marketing strategies. Overall responsibilities will be to execute key tactics, campaigns and activities for the pre-launch and launch in Europe and additional prioritized geographies. The individual will lead the key aspects of product management and support regions to achieve near and long term commercial objectives. The focus will be on RNA Targeted platform. Position will report to Executive Director, Global Strategic Marketing and is located in Cambridge, MA. Role will be an individual contributor. RESPONSIBILITIES Independently work closely with regions to provide all required communication assets in a timely fashion. Drive the decisions on promotion and awareness mix and channeling for effective communications Drive the execution of the tactical plan. Manage AOR and global marketing budget Contribute to the execution of the global congress plan. Partner with Country Managers and Global team to conduct market research and competitive intelligence and analyze quantitative and qualitative data for market characterization and customer segmentation Identify and manage resources (budget tracking and agency management) Drive the brand and disease positioning, messaging and differentiation through the launch cycle Facilitate learnings to accelerate launches in other markets WW Work closely with Regulatory, Medical, Scientific affairs and Manufacturing and IT personnel to align and execute key launch activities Respond and support needs of internal and external customers Establish strong relationships and develop collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders in the field of DMD Drive the development and implementation of selected global and regional strategic plans Supervise summer interns QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 or more years of commercial experience in brand management/marketing in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry Expertise in brand marketing/product management is required Successful track record of International product launch experience, European launch experiencepreferred. Experience working in a start-up and/or mid-cap sized company preferred Orphan or rare diseaseexperience, and an authentic commitment to working closely with patient community MBApreferred, degree in marketing, business, biological science or pharmacy discipline Fluent in Spanish and or Portuguese (preferred) Proven ability to lead and develop exceptional relationships and have an impact on influence others Successfully establishing and leading cross-functional high-performance teamsSalary Range: NAMinimum QualificationLess than 5 years
