Red Hat is a rapidly growing company supporting more than 90% of Fortune 500 companies.Job summaryThe Red Hat North America (NA) Public Sector Field Marketing team is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join us in McLean, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for developing digital landing pages, messaging, content and assets specific to government business challenges, as well as the activation of these assets in the market. You ll support the team s cohesive vertical digital marketing program encompassing paid media, including social marketing and display advertising, programmatic buys, organic social, and content marketing. This role includes gathering data and providing regular reporting of performance metrics for individual campaigns, channels, tactics, ad creative and offers, as well as the collective program, against industry and Red Hat baselines, and predetermined targets. Responsibilities include gathering and sharing insights related to target account and persona penetration, return on marketing investment (ROMI), and driving ongoing optimization to maximize awareness, engagement and demand for Red Hat products and solutions. As a Digital Marketing manager, you ll collaborate with regional and global stakeholders and across functional teams including Corporate Marketing, Field Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Global Digital Strategy and Activation, as well as the Red Hat digital agency account team.Primary job responsibilitiesGuide digital strategy and vision for the U.S. public sector market in partnership with key stakeholders, field marketing, and corporate digital marketing teamsManage the creation of public sector specific digital properties and messaging, aligning to the overall marketing strategy and objectives Create and deliver a cohesive digital marketing activation plan for the public sector market Manage relationship and program optimization with third-party digital agency Manage the digital marketing budget Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to discuss upcoming paid media campaigns, recommendations and optimizations to support desired outcomes Monitor and report on key metrics for in-market program performance using platforms and technologies such as Tableau and Salesforce.com (SFDC)Create unique tracking URLs and document for performance measurementLead public sector social media strategy and delivery, in close collaboration with the public sector PR agency who fulfills unpaid social mentionsRequired skillsUnderstanding of paid media, including social and display advertising, programmatic buys, and content marketing tacticsFamiliarity with standard marketing performance metrics Responsive, with excellent communication skills Ability to work with cross-functional and geographically distributed teamsReliable with ability to demonstrate initiative and ability to learn on your ownDetail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at the same time Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience marketing to the public sector market is a plus Experience with marketing technology, tools and campaign management platforms is a plusRed Hat is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.
