The IT ERP Solutions Analyst is responsible for IT solutions delivery for enterprise processes including planning, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise ERP systems.
Specific Duties Include:
Solution Delivery and Analysis
o Manage operational performance or support other solution analysts in managing the operational performance of several of the organizations current and future ERP systems. Solutions this role may be asked to assist with, based upon candidates skillset include: Dynamics GP, Dynamics365 Finance and Operations, NetSuite, CDK Global Heavy Equipment.
o Assist in management of the IBM i platform (CDK)
o Deliver ERP improvements, fixes, and solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative solutions.
o Deliver and manage ERP Add-ons and integrations, such as document management and order management tools.
o Collaborate with IT Team and external vendors to deliver new systems and improvements
o Validates results by testing programs.
o Ensures operation by training client personnel and providing support.
o Ensures knowledge content is created and curated for IT solutions.
o Assesses business process and system inefficiencies.
o Supports system conversions, upgrades, enhancements.
o Stays abreast of industry and technology trends to provide advice on strategic business and technology solutions.
o Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, such as backups.
Architecture and Strategy
o Investigates, proposes and evaluates solutions related to ERP systems.
o Assists in supporting business architecture (business models and process architectures).
o Provides recommendations to preserve the integrity of business processes across various changes to ensure the delivery of holistic integrated solutions.
Business Relationship Management
o Takes part in Business Unit Strategic Planning Sessions.
o Builds and maintains strong relationships with process owners and super users.
o Provides input into IT Strategic Roadmap, representing all supported business units.
o Interfaces with vendors to understand whether their products will meet business and technical requirements.
o Manages relationship with existing technology vendors. Utilizes relationship to problem solve and manage the enhancement request process.
o Maintains knowledge of multiple business functions and initiatives to identify where conflicts/synergies exist between technology and business functions.
o Maintains up-to-date awareness of the current and future directions of the industry and associated technologies, and, where appropriate, makes recommendations for implementation of new/upgraded systems and technologies.
o Identifies and mitigates potential problems and conflicts with IT solution delivery.
Conduct self in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of R.D. Offutt Company and RDO Equipment Co.
Responsible for ensuring that sound and safe business practices and processes are implemented and continuously improved to effectively and efficiently achieve ethical business objectives.
Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering.
At least 3 years of IT, or related experience.
Understanding of information technology and business concepts.
Understanding of accounting processes and principles
Previous experience supporting an ERP system.
Preferably Dynamics GP and/or CDK Global Heavy Equipment
Nice to have: Dynamics 365 F&O, NetSuite
Strong communication, problem solving, presentation, and leadership skills
Familiarity with general business functions.
Ability to adapt quickly to new technology, business processes, and responsibilities.
Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
