job summary:

Reports to the Associate Director for HR Systems. Supports the delivery of university-wide HR Systems, including the clientTraining Portal, PeopleSoft HCM (HR, Payroll, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Talent Management, Pension and Benefits Administration modules), IBM/Kenexa (Staff Recruiting), and other HR applications.

responsibilities:

Participate in the weekly production support rotation during business hours. Respond within one business day to end user questions, system issues and requests for data sets, reports and system enhancements.


qualifications:

Independently research and troubleshoot any issues. Consult other analysts as needed.

Prior experience with PeopleSoft HRMS application preferred


skills: Works with the technical team to make sure that requirements are well understood as part of the software development lifecycle e.g., requirements review, turnover, signoff. Develop test scripts and executes testing to ensure new products, enhancements, bug fixes, and patches function as expected and without introducing regression issues. Provide functional support during project release go lives, which may include occasional evening or weekend work. Assist with general administration, special projects, and performs other related job duties as needed. The ideal candidate must demonstrate keen problem solving troubleshooting ability, business systems savvy, and attention to detail.
