The Vice President/Senior Vice President, Investor Relations will work directly with the CEO and CFO as well as other senior company executives to lead and implement Precisions investor relations strategy. The position will be responsible for managing external relationships and assuring clear and consistent communication with the investment community including current shareholders, prospective shareholders, analysts, and other relevant stakeholders. The role will also be expected be actively involved with developing the companys capital raising strategy and execution and to participate in broader corporate strategic decisions. The position is also responsible for leading events such as earnings and other conference calls, investor events, and management roadshows.
The role will also assure that senior management is kept apprised on investor sentiment and provide the Board and management with updated information on Precisions shareholders and analyst projections.
The position will work closely with the company CEO, CFO, Senior Management as well as coordinate efforts across multiple functions including legal, marketing, R&D, regulatory, operations, and quality. Occasionally, it may be requested that this position support certain cross-functional initiatives as needed to support certain technical and clinical programs. The IR/PR team and the Corporate Communications team will report to this role.
While we would prefer that someone work onsite in Durham, NC, we are open to a remote working relationship with regular travel to the site.

Interact with the investment community on behalf of Precision and be proficient at communicating the company mission and vision. Establish and maintain excellent relations with institutional investors, key retail investors and analysts
Serve as the main point of contact for the investment community
Develop and maintain a close relationship with the banking community
Partner with the CFO to establish corporate financing strategy and participate in high level corporate strategy discussions
Develop key communication materials in collaboration with senior leadership in preparation of analyst events, presentations, road shows, earnings releases and other announcements
Represent Precision at financial and industry conferences and medical meetings including coordinating meeting schedules and participating in one-on-one meetings with investors
Provide review and commentary on SEC filings including the annual report
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job successfully.
BA or BS required, MBA or relevant PhD or MD preferred
Minimum 10 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry including experience in investor and/or public relations, corporate strategy, equity research, investment banking, finance or corporate communications
Stellar verbal and written communication skills, including impeccable presentation skills; proven ability to effectively interact with and present (verbally and in writing) to external and internal stakeholders; demonstrated personable and energetic communication style with the ability to convey credibility
Successful track record of interfacing with the investment community and media
Uncompromising ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment and the highest level of discretion; knowledge of SEC and disclosure requirements preferred
Ability to demonstrate initiative and simultaneously achieve multiple tasks
This position requires extensive travel
