Job Description The Enrollment Processing Consultant area supports the ongoing servicing of Benefits products implemented in third party technology solutions. Supports all aspects of processing and administration of the electronic exchange and the service of perpetual data files. Operational responsibilities include documenting of file processing status. Analyzing file validation results and taking appropriate actions to release for issue or rejecting for further corrective action. Preprocessing and loading of data. Conducting data forensics to identify root-cause where errors may be the result of source data. Configuring systems to facilitate automated handling of high volumes of enrollment data. Job Summary This role primarily supports the processing of new hire and qualified life event enrollment data throughout the year. Supports electronic sales solutions through the management of all aspects of processing inbound enrollment data received post implementation. Initiate activity based on a workflow tracker to coordinate a diverse set of tasks with internal systems and tools as well as interfacing with external business partners which may include Employer, Broker, Enrollment Entity and Technology Vendor. Works in partnership with the Technical Solution Consultants and Systems Integration Analyst to partner with internal departments including National Accounts, New Business, Compliance, and Information Technology to facilitate audits, research, EDI file testing, data analysis, data processing, workflow tracking and reporting. Key Responsibilities bull Communicate product and related data specifications to platform vendor supporting the Employer and participate in implementation conference calls bull Perform perpetual processing of enrollment data bull Mange work queue through use of a workflow database bull Employ root cause analysis to data files that are unable to be processed bull Provide feedback on data files to EDI file developers on best practice integration with internal processing systems. bull Collaborates closely with internal business areas, field sales distribution, implementation, finance, compliance, underwriting, new business, customer service and IT, to effectively recognize and solve case level enrollment strategy issues KnowledgeSkillsAbilitiesExperience Proficient at communicating technical needs Project management skills - 1 to 3 years' experience managing multiple projects Knowledge and understanding of the voluntary benefit enrollment process Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Excel in order to manage data in the enrollment process Bachelors preferred in the Computer Science or business related fields or related experience Advance skills in data testing, auditing, analysis and reporting Ability to manage concurrent conflicting priorities Schedule flexibility to work extended hours during peak volumes
