Business Group Highlights Navy Marine CorpsThe Navy Marine Corps business group provides end-to-end IT solutions to the Department of the Navy including transport, networking, end user hardware and services, cybersecurity and staffing. Using agile engineering and DevOps methods, we produce mission-specific solutions to solve the Fleet's challenges.ResponsibilitiesWe re looking for a strong data analyst with some background in IT asset manangement. Under broad supervision, the successful candidate will do (but not limited to) the following:Generate official correspondence. Issue Enterprise database status reports. Issue weekly productivity reports. Maintain data management databases. Supports program and acquisition activities. Provides technical and production g assessments of production-related contract deliverables to ensure compliance with established Program objectives. Supports Change Control Board (CCB). Reviews Configuration Management (CM) documentation including Change Requests (ECRs). Assist with implementing hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures. Provide management support in hardware and software asset lifecycles, change management lifecycles, and IT inventory control. Establish and maintain asset & configuration baseline in accordance with guidance and direction from the Configuration Control Board. Maintain Hardware/Software configuration items using BMC Remedy. Maintain CM databases (Remedy, ICRS, GCSS-MC ect). Facilitate inventory audits. Review contract terms and end of life conditions, in addition to special provisions and procedures for the disposition of government property. Assists in the acquisitions process by providing briefings and data as needed. Liaise with Asset Management representatives from the Regional Data Center Facilities relative to common Product Data Management (cPDM) document retrieval and database management. Liaise with Enterprise leadership, Marine Corps System Command Tower Leadership, and Local LeadershipQualificationsRequires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD. Familiarity with Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Experience / training in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or any other Management or Process-Based disciplines Experience with Asset Management, Configuration Management, and Change Management within Remedy used throughout the lifecycle of Work Orders Moderate experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft ExcelMust have a secret security clearance.About PerspectaWhat matters to our nation, is what matters to us.
