ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION: Research Psychologists apply social science and psychological theory through applied research to investigate various issues, questions, and problems involving human behavior. In addition, they apply measurement methods and tools to assess the attributes, attitudes, and activities of the workforce, and develop plans to address research findings. They provide consultative services for HR professionals, NGA management and stakeholders, and NSG/IC counterparts. Additional Position Info. We are seeking a dynamic Research Psychologist to join us in this exciting work. As a Research Psychologist in the Human Development Advanced Capabilities Office, you will support the Agency's talent identification and assessment function; collaborate with Agency mission subject matter experts and stakeholders in the development and updating of the Agency's competencies and work roles; and lead/participate in interagency projects dealing with competencies, work roles, etc. You will leverage your critical thinking, listening, organizing, and communication, teaming and strategic thinking to lead Agency programs and processes. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and providing technical input on competency and work role issues, developing and/or updating workforce planning processes and documents, and leading research initiatives to support Agency Human Capital programs and decisions. You will have the opportunity to represent the Agency by participating in Intelligence Community forums and working groups as well as to make a significant impact across the Enterprise. You must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information.
