Responsible for managing the complex financial functions for a unit, or group of units, with the Transaction Banking Line of Business.. *Major Responsibilities:**. + Works with business partners to develop forward-looking analysis and strategies to support new products, and initiatives.. + Prepares detailed and complex financial analysis, projections, and reports.. + Acting independently, ensures that all accounting systems are in compliance with Federal and State requirements.. + Develops, recommend, and monitors group-wide performance.. + Closely monitors the department's performance with relation to budgetary boundaries.. + Takes a lead role in forecasting and establishing annual resource requirements.. + Designs and prepares financial and other performance management presentation materials for Executive audiences.. + With LOB support, develops the annual budget and business planning processes.. + Performs and monitors periodic financial and business plan reviews, providing observations and advice in resolving deviations from plan.. + Represents department as a finance liaison with other Bank departments.. + Develops and prepares materials for quarterly business review meetings.. + Analyzes current incentive plans for effectiveness, and provides observations and recommendations. Represents department in a senior-level capacity as Incentive Compensation liaison to other Bank departments.. + Provides financial analysis support and business case analysis on consolidations, new services and new initiatives.. + Provides a key role in financial and business analysis support to committees and task forces.. *Qualifications**. + Typically requires a four-year college degree /and or Master's in Accounting or Finance (or comparable work experience). + 5-10 years of increasingly more complex responsibility in performing financial analysis.. + Experience with payments and/or balance sheet forecasting a plus.. + Requires the ability to conduct complex financial analysis.. + Familiarity with Hyperion-based tools is a plus.. + Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).. + Detail-oriented with the potential to work efficiently and independently with little supervision.. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills to include listening, verbal and written skills.. + Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under time pressure and handle multiple tasks/projects at the same time.. + Problem resolution skills with strong analytical skills, sound judgment and ability to work effectively with clients and technical staff.. + Ability to work with all levels of management.. + Strong understanding of monthly finance reporting and cadence..
