This role will report to the Head of Insurance Operations Strategic Planning and be accountable for coordinating and providing guidance relative to key initiatives inclusive of A360 and Coverpath within MMUS Insurance Operations. This individual will be accountable for driving and managing a holistic portfolio of strategic programs focused on business outcomes and will partner across both MMUS Insurance Operations as well as with Technology, PMO to achieve goals.


  • Contributes to developing the strategy, goals and metrics for the MMUS Insurance Operations department objectives
  • Organizes and orchestrates overall planning and prioritization for all MMUS Insurance Operations initiatives aligned to strategy, business outcomes, and priority criteria
  • Develops an integrated program and project roadmap for business initiatives, communication strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with strategy
  • Responsible for reporting and analysis of aggregated health for portfolio
  • Facilitates tradeoff discussions, to reallocate and coordinate based on priorities
  • Identifies program conflict, contention and barriers to execution and delivery plan
  • Coordinates to understand resource, investment and capacity needs to fulfillment of activities
  • Collaborates with stakeholders identify key initiatives, benefits, goals and plans
  • Collaborates across the organization to ensure plans and resources are aligned to enable successful delivery of work
  • Proactively manages risk across the portfolio to anticipate and head off challenges to achieving business outcomes
  • Manages initiative activities from initiation through launch and adoptionCreates and manages detailed project calendars and socializes with stakeholders and teamSchedules meetings to ensure adherence to initiative goals and timelinesWorks with partners to ensure timelines are realistic and well managedMonitors the health of adoption and sustainment of transformational changes.
  • Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in the financial services/insurance industry, including industry 5+ years in Project Management roles
  • Bachelors? Degree or equivalent work experience?
  • Strong financial acumen, prior budget responsibility strongly preferred?
  • Experience managing portfolios and/or serving as program manager?
  • Superb project management, operations, and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to talent development; enjoys mentoring and providing OTJ?
  • training.?
  • Intimate knowledge of Project Management?
  • Agile experience?
  • Track record of successful management of conflicting priorities?
  • A consummate relationship builder and a trusted advisor?
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future?
