Cyber Fraud Analyst

MassMutual Fraud Operations plays a critical role in protecting MassMutual and its customers from fraud and financial crimes. The Cyber Fraud Analyst is a leading member of the Fraud Surveillance & Analytics team responsible for delivering enhanced monitoring and alerting in response to fraud events. The position reports to the Director of Fraud Operations and works cross-functionally with Security, Legal, Compliance and IT response teams. The Cyber Fraud Analyst will work closely with Fraud Analysts and serve as a technical mentor to Fraud Analysts as well as working closely with the Trusted Identity project teams responsible for deploying Customer Identity capabilities focused on preventative solutions to mitigate emergent threats.
Function as a technical lead to research and analyze digital activity to detect and remediate emerging threats as well as implement standard operating procedures used by the Fraud Analyst team
Report on and tune monitoring rules to address false positives & negatives, including the ability to leverage indicators and patterns of compromise to identify at risk customers and company assets
Work closely with Product Owners to provide operational support and maintenance of monitoring processes and applications through configuration changes, upgrades, testing and documentation
Streamline procedures and automate workflows where applicable to support timely response
Basic Qualifications

Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize work to maintain focus on high risk and high priority items
Ability to learn new concepts, systems and applications quickly and independently while considering alternatives to arrive at timely and effective solutions to complex problems
1-3 years of experience with investigative tool sets, such as a NIDS, NIPS, SIEM (i.e. Splunk, QRadar, Securonix, etc.), or Financial Crimes/ AML monitoring platforms (i.e. NICE-Actimize, FiServ-FCRM, FICO-Falcon etc.)
Experience performing intrusion detection, threat hunting and prevention monitoring along with documenting results of investigations
Experience in the Financial Services or Health Care industry, preferably with working knowledge of Insurance or Retirement sector
Working knowledge of Financial Crime, Anti-Money Laundering, Elder Abuse, or Diminished Capacity concepts, rules and regulations preferred
