Quality Assurance Engineer (Health care domain experience Needed)

The QA Engineer Contractor will be responsible for creating, enhancing, and maintaining test plans and test cases for current and upcoming projects with a particular focus on building fully automated tests and frameworks.
This position requires working directly with development, business analyst, release engineering, technical operations, and product management teams.
The candidate will also need to have great communication skills, be proactive, and should be able to diagnose and troubleshoot within networks and remote systems.
Ideal candidates must have experience in healthcare workflows and data feeds and must be comfortable testing ADT and claims data from providers and commercial partners.
We are looking for someone with:
3-5 years experience working in Quality Assurance and/or Development of Automated Test Infrastructures.
Understanding of data structures and how data is stored, queried, and optimized.
1-2 years experience with query languages such as SQL, ability to analyze and validate data structures, and troubleshoot issues related to queries.
Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and the role and responsibilities of the QA team within.
Knowledge of Agile-support tools such as Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Bamboo, etc.
Experience working in environments where Agile, Scrum / Kanban, DevOps work practices are used.
Ability to establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
Ability to develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)
Good understanding of HL7 message testing.
HL7 schema knowledge (structure, different event types)
HL7 format awareness (understanding of different fields and segments for HL7 event type such as ADT, MDM, ORU, SIU)
Proficient in creating and editing HL7 messages.
Previous experience with major interface engine (Ensemble, MIRTH, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Corepoint)
Exceptional debugging and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technology and industry concepts quickly and be able to apply them.
Working knowledge of Linux based systems and ability to execute Linux commands.
