Intabio is currently seeking a Research Associate to join the Consumables team developing a novel microfluidic device for cIEF-MS. Qualified candidates should have experience in surface coatings for glass substrates, device inspection and characterization, and functional testing of devices using early stage development instruments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, and work with the team on developing methods and assays for device and reagent characterization.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
  • Developing and implementing protocols for various coatings of microfluidic consumables.
  • Device inspection and characterization, and correlation with functional performance.
  • Incoming reagent inspection: method development, and evaluation.
  • Functional device testing; collect and analyze data with good laboratory practice.
  • Document and characterize processes, and transfer to production team.

  • BS in chemistry or a related field, and 5+ years of industrial experience.
  • Experience in surface modification of glass substrates, and reagent characterization.
  • Strong analytical skills, and ability to work with early stage instruments.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills.
  • Effective team player with ability & willingness to quickly learn new skills and techniques.
  • Experience in fast paced early stage company environment is a plus.
