L3Harris.comDescription: Job Title: Lead, Strategy DevelopmentJob Code: IMS20202###-####8Location: Arlington, VALead, Strategy DevelopmentAs a member of the Integrated Missions Systems Strategy team, the Specialist, Strategy Development will help support the evaluation and management of new strategic business opportunities through performing research and data analyses. Your creative thought process will be needed to assist with identifying and describing strategic business model themes and complex product development roadmaps. This role will work independently across the Segment cross-functionally to provide project management that drives IMS research activities through to conclusion. As a proactive participant in working strategic planning sessions, this role will also provide assistance with high-level meetings and briefings as well as the development of executive documents. Essential Job Functions & DutiesCollaborates across L3Harris to gain an understanding of inter-segment programs, Business Development activity, Engineering initiatives (checkpoints and IRAD allocations), Program Management, etcDevelops understanding of how IMS programs are funded through the Federal Defense Budgeting process to best provide support to the Strategy organizationExtracts, analyzes, and synthesizes data from Avascent and other budgetary research toolsets and subscription services through to identify portions of the budget that align with IMS solution setsDevelops analytical models and synthesizes findings with focus on overall actionable insights/results into executive level reports and presentations to drive action-oriented decisions for leadership.Works closely with leadership to plan and develop content for readability and to execute high-quality responses to briefings and high-level documents in a deadline-intensive, fast-paced environment.Coordinates inputs from multiple functions to develop cohesive presentations and documents while utilizing and maintaining SharePoint site to effectively control multiple versions of production deliverable filesCoordinates team scheduling and production support with both internal and external resources. Completes ad-hoc projects and reporting as assigned.Builds and maintains current production, as well as experimental, models measuring segment performance (20+ measures), market trends, and available market for solutions.Captures meeting minutes, action items, questions for follow-up, submittal checklists, and updates with any changing requirements from meetings and working strategy sessions. Documents, reviews, and shares lessons learned to enhance company-wide best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of the Strategy organizationMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Political Science, Engineering, Computer Science or related field Experience with MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio3+ years project management, market research and business development experience and skills, including demonstrated ability to think end-to-end and manage multiple priorities/projects simultaneously.3+ in the Aerospace and Defense industryPreferred Qualifications Master s degree in Business Administration, Political Science, Engineering, Computer Science or related fieldStrong business writing skills and proficient in developing 100+ page management decks for senior leadersHigh analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyExperience leading cross-company strategic campaigns and or strategic pursuits, ideally in the Aerospace and Defense sectorComfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environmentExperience presenting to executive leaders, explaining thought processes, findings, gating factors and expectations for deliveryProven ability to build cross company, multi-function teams for either strategic campaigns or pursuits.Please be aware many of our positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
