About This Role: Forrester is looking for a marketer to support its solution and vertical marketing efforts. This role is responsible for partnering within marketing and across the Forrester ecosystem to bring new solutions and positions to market and fuel the creation of Forrester's next generation of solutions. We are looking for a strong storyteller to join our content team. This individual will be responsible for understanding - and digging into - the issues and challenges that are facing our prospects and customers today. You'll be tasked with developing content that places the customer as the protagonist of the story and helps them gain an understanding of how Forrester can help them overcome their challenges. This role will specifically support our solution and vertical marketing efforts. Not only should the ideal candidate have strong writing skills, but you also should be curious, a strong critical thinker, and willing to dive into new topics and concepts without hesitation. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and changing environment. You'll be a critical player in bringing new solutions and positions to the market. Responsibilities : * Collaborate on content strategy specific to our solution and vertical marketing efforts.* Develop a strong understanding of Forrester's intellectual property and product suite.* Analyze and understand the competitive landscape and identify differentiators.* Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges in order to build a more effective editorial calendar and content.* Craft customer-centric positioning and messaging that clearly communicate how Forrester can help solve big customer challenges.* Collaborate with designers, product marketing, sales, and business line leads to produce relevant content that meets the needs of key stakeholders, prospects, and customers.* Research and/or interview internal experts to capture ideas and distill complex ideas into effective, clear communications.* Create and collaborate on content to help prospects and customers navigate the buyer's journey; generate content that tells Forrester's brand story and drives demand. That content comes in a variety of formats, including blog posts, eBooks, videos, social posts, case studies, etc.* Project-manage content projects from start to finish. Qualifications : * A minimum of five to eight years of experience in B2B marketing roles or comparable experience.* An independent thinker who holds an outside-in, customer-first approach to marketing.* A strategic thinker with the ability to synthesize large quantities of IP, establish connections, draw conclusions, and distill down to key messages.* A strong writer and content creator with the demonstrated ability to craft stories that speak to solving customer challenges.* A baseline understanding of integrated marketing tactics and GTM strategies.* Is comfortable building stories around intangible products and services.* Has a high clock speed and the ability to work without constant oversight or a support team.* Demonstrated project management and collaboration skills across functional groups.* Excellent Microsoft Office skills with advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
