Position Summary


Responsible for overseeing and directing the financial reporting, planning, and analyses for the procurement function at Ferrara

  • Forecast raw, pack and purchased procurement and PPV including evaluation of key risks and opportunities
  • Conducts cost/price analyses utilizing a variety of analytical tools that include market trends, parametric models, and statistical analysis
  • Provide annual operating plan decision support to align on key productivity and inflation targets, budgets/spending and standard development as needed
  • Supports the procurement organization in procurement activities including: preparing detailed bid instructions for the Request for Quote/Request for Proposal (RFQ/RFP) process
  • Translates estimates to financial forecasts, provides cost and/or price information to cross-functional teams, management and customers
  • Performs various economic analysis; net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), return on investment (ROI), break-even analysis and presents results to cross-functional teams, management and customers
  • Controls material savings and gives input for financial forecast
Ideal experience
  • 3+ years experience in a purchasing, procurement or supply chain finance support role
  • Ability to gather and analyze a wide range of internal and external data and make recommendations based on analysis of the information
  • Understanding of commercial contract language and ability to support or administer commercial contracts
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to leverage the internet to research products and services.
  • Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas
  • Ability to evaluate technical and operational information and issues
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • B.S. in Finance, Business, Economics, or related area; MBA/CPA preferred
