Translates and develops requirements into workable software solutions. Maintains and develops programs for use in business and IT automation. Incorporates various accepted methodologies to design software and applications at a moderate risk level to project or release. May perform duties in one or more of the following disciplines: Open Systems Mainframe Application Configuration
In addition to the general minimum qualifications below, the following are strongly preferred.
+2 years of Performance Test relevant experience
In-depth knowledge of Performance Center
In-depth knowledge of gathering and defining Performance Test project requirements, developing, implementing or reviewing engineering architecture and engineering design
In-depth knowledge of ITIL process areas as it pertains to Performance Test items and ServiceNow tool
In addition to the general duties listed below, the following are specific to this opening:
Create Test Plan which includes change Request details. Testing schedule, Testing Resources, Testing Strategy, Tools required and risks
Work with multi-tier application architecture and technology including web, mobile, and API. Work with Business analyst and other stakeholders to get the Non-Functional Requirements
Develop reusable automated test scripts for major end-to-end Ul scenarios by using technologies including but not limited to Web HTTP/HTML and TruClient and service technologies e.g. REST, SOAP, WSDL, WADL, Json, XML, etc. in performance testing framework
As required for load testing scenarios, modify scripts using tools like Load Runner to develop functions, C functions, Java Objects, other functions for error handling, correlation, parameterization and text/image checks for confirming the correct response for each page, field and/or object, etc.
Monitor application metrics like Real-user monitoring, Database and server monitoring using AppDynamics and Nimbus
Analyze real-time data and application logs using Splunk to identify the bottlenecks and application issues if any that occurs in the test
Work with and assist on Performance Testing framework. Identify performance issues, error handling processes, analyze application performance and implement the right tool/framework for higher reusability and maintainability
Work with stakeholders to perform feasibility study for different performance tools and development of proofs of concept
Work with Performance Test Senior Software Engineer to support automation framework and CI/CD concepts

Develops program logic for new, moderately complex applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
Contributes to design documents.
Contributes to releases with high quality code and unit tests within predictable timeframes. Implements and verifies a complete unit test. Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications. Analyzes requirements, and maintains, tests and integrates application components.
Maintains stability of platforms, applications, services and systems.
Effectively communicates with customers, team members or other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
Shares knowledge of systems and may mentor or train others.

Minimum Educational Requirements and Experience Equivalencies: Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, Business or related field, plus two years' related experience; or Associate's degree in technical field, plus four years' related experience; or High school diploma plus six years' related experience.
