As Associate Director, Marketing, NYC you will operate as the main point of contact for our agent marketing experience for New York City from the implementation of the overarching strategy to the development of an individual agent s full marketing mix from social to print to events to acquisition and retention of clients.

You will be intimately involved in multiple aspects of the business as a matter of course, with a focus on accountability and follow-through for the implementation of broad regional initiatives. The role will provide you with the opportunity to work closely with the entire marketing team on diverse, high-impact projects while learning the ins and outs of management, strategy, and growth first-hand, at full speed.

Marketing for Douglas Elliman s New York City region will be responsible for maintaining Douglas Elliman corporate identity and ensuring its prominence through the development and execution of best-in-class programs aimed to attract and retain top tier real estate professionals and development marketing opportunities.


Works with Senior Director of Marketing, NYC on the development and implementation of policies and procedures that will continually improve the agent marketing experience.

Develops and monitors marketing activities on a regional level as well as individual agents. Responsibilities include - but are not limited to - strategic advising, planning, managing and implementing of initiatives such as postcard and email campaigns, and social media activations.

Frequent public speaking engagements including presentations to New York City Sales Management and Executive Teams, and NYC Corporate training sessions for sales agents on company marketing tools and initiatives.

Management of two direct reports. Responsible for the work output and productivity of marketing associates and coordinators. Weekly check-ins, reporting, and annual performance reviews of each direct report is required.

Responsible for high level agent exclusive pitch presentations: recommending preferred marketing and media strategies, gathering appropriate material from other departments, managing creation of piece with creative team, and successful and timely delivery.

Works with Creative Department to ensure that brand creative and collateral/look/feel across key touch points and specific to the marketplace.

Works with corporate and regional marketing staff to develop, gather and deliver agent marketing needs.

Stays apprised of industry news, competitive information, new developments, regulations and policies through publications, professional organizations and networking opportunities with other real estate brokerages.

Works with Human Resources, Director of Agent Training and Senior Director of Marketing, NYC on development and execution of the agent onboarding plans.

Establishes and maintains a usable and well-communicated schedule for all initiatives.

Ensures all projects meet internal and external expectations with respect to quality, budget, delivery timelines, and strategy.

Communicates progress, risks, expectations, timelines on regional marketing plans.

May perform other duties as assigned.


Total of 7-10 years of marketing experience.

Must have a passion for people and be client service oriented.

Must be strategically analytical and operations focused while also providing strong oversight of tactical responsibilities.

Experience working in and supporting a sales environment.

Possess top-level business management, communication, presentation and consensus building skills.

Strong interpersonal and people management skills with proven success in motivating, mentoring and creating an environment where the best talent wants to be.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Adept project manager; impeccable time management and prioritization skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Skilled communicator with great interpersonal skills, ability to build and manage relationships.

Successful experience demonstrating ability to work through conflict, build trust, and influence outcomes through outstanding interpersonal skills at all levels.

Proven leader, highly motivated and self-directed.

Experience working in the luxury space preferred.

Bachelor s degree in Marketing or related discipline strongly preferred.


Proficiency in current versions Keynote, Powerpoint, Excel, Microsoft
