Our Contractor Relations Representatives work as valued team members assisting the Contractor Relations Manager in managing specific territories consisting of 3rd party service providers and suppliers. In this challenging role, representatives will contribute to growing and maintaining the network of professional home service providers. Job responsibilities include maintaining account records, verifying contractor qualifications, assisting with rate schedules, and invoice reconciliation. Our successful reps are independent thinkers yet work well in a team environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with 3rd party service providers to resolve account issues, explain processes/procedures and foster working business relationships.
  • Gather contractor information, verify qualifications, manage claim expectations including service levels, recalls, 2nd opinions, re-dispatches and other cost or performance related metrics.
  • Use your soft skills to engage service providers verbally. Perform on going contractor education.
  • Possess basic mathematical skills, attention to detail, and ability to keep cool under pressure.
  • Review current processes/procedures, suggest alternatives to improve efficiency.
  • Team player able to work independently toward a common team goal.
  • Effective use of the internet and other tools to assist in securing new service provider as well as keeping current with industry challenges and changes.
  • Interpersonal skills capable of building and sustaining long-term business relationships with service providers, team members and inter-departments.

Qualifications:

  • Desired experience: working in a fast paced, service oriented business. Effective organizational skills, people skills, and ability to prioritize work load with competing priorities.
  • Computer literate with working experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Positive attitude willing to learn and contribute to progressive growing company.
