The Sales and Marketing Hotel Brand Area Manager supports the Sales and Marketing Senior Regional Manager in driving and increasing tour flow by assisting with all external marketing activities, designated locations, and off property events.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provides direct supervision of Sales and Marketing Hotel Brand Ambassadors and Marketing Support team members.

Enriches hotel guest experience during face-to-face contact by providing them with the utmost quality customer service.

Actively greets and services guests; educates and transitions seamlessly to offer Diamond Resorts vacation packages to those who show interest.

Enhances the guest hotel stay with helpful information and a positive, warm demeanor.

Assists guests during their stay, provides direction, and enhances the guest's overall experience.

Maintains a working knowledge of Company programs, systems, services, and resorts.

Develops, implements, and rotates promotional concepts to meet or exceed production goals.

Assists in hiring, counseling, coaching, training, and managing Sales and Marketing Hotel

Brand Ambassadors.

Assists management in achieving and/or exceeding departmental monthly budgets in lead generation and tour goals.

Assists with implementing department initiatives to increase productivity while maintaining a positive demeanor and work environment at all times towards guests and team members.

Initiates and suggests plans to motivate team members to achieve monthly and/or annual tours and sales goals.

Ensures team members are using innovative and proper techniques and/or protocol in brand design and scripts to direct high volumes of prospects to event booths.

Communicates customer needs and interests to management to enable the Company to continue to change based on the market's needs.

Ensures team members use Company approved scripts at all times when speaking to guests.

Provides relief for team members on breaks or as schedule demands.

Accurately reconciles and reports monies collected on a daily basis.

Communicates information to prospective clients regarding the areas locations and activities.

Ensures team members and locations represent high standards of quality, according to Company standards.

Ensures consistently have all tools and stocked collateral to perform their jobs at respective locations.

Provides superior customer service in accordance with the Company standards

Drives and increases package sales by assisting with all external marketing activities at the designated locations and off property events.

Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.

Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

A minimum two (2) years of experience in marketing field package sales required.

A minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience in marketing field package sales required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position spends the majority of the time (50% or more) achieving organization objectives, often through the coordinate achievements of subordinate staff. A portion of the time may be spent performing individual tasks related similar to those performed by direct reports, but primary duties are supervisory or organizational-goal related. Analyzes and resolves problems, determines work techniques, monitors for regulatory compliance, maintains production, interprets and creates policies, and demonstrates solid subject matter knowledge.

Establishes departmental goals and objectives, functions with independence, and makes decisions on matters of significant importance. Manages human, financial, and/or physical resources; proactively assesses risk to establish systems and procedures to protect organizational assets. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action; develops systems to ensure subordinates adhere to policies and procedures in compliance with organizational goals and objectives.

Specific supervisory duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Determines and creates policies, procedures, and manuals for direct reports.

Establishes objectives and goals for the team; plans, organizes, and manages work flow.

Assigns, monitors, and reviews work; evaluates direct report's performance.

Recruits, interviews, trains, disciplines, and terminates direct reports.

Orientates and trains direct reports.

Approves time records and time off requests; submits payroll for direct reports.

Investigates and resolves concerns and complaints.

Provides assistance and support; maintains a positive and professional working environment.

LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS

Driver's Licenses (non-commercial) - must be state-specific.
