Location: Plymouth, Minnesota Contract Duration: 12 months TOP SKILLS Recent web content editing or web development knowledge (HTML, CSS and any CMS) Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple work requests and projects Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and turn around analysis and provide answers to business partners quickly JOB SUMMARY: The Email Marketing Consultant is responsible to help guide and advance the email execution process at Polaris by focusing on strategy, design, execution and reporting of email marketing. This person will be active in implementing email campaign efforts, writing engaging copy aligned to brand strategy and standards and supporting company protocol for email compliance. This position will work closely with the (1) eMarketing specialist who acts as a partner and strategic guide for the email team (2) Business Marketing team, which act as strategic partners and focus on content and campaign objectives and (3) occassionally interact with our web content and SEO teams. Candidate should be passionate about power sports, its customers, and the supporting lifestyle. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Create and execute email marketing campaigns to drive business goals Write email copy and content while following brand standards Build and execute email ESP (Drip or Selligent) tools, leveraging responsive design Execute complete end-to-end testing of each email via email testing tools (Litmus or Email on Acid) Assist with segmentation practices for personalized content Assist with lifecycle marketing programs for the purpose of deepening customer relationships and increasing leads Support email best practices that help internal business groups and external partners better understand and execute email efforts that comply with standards and perform well Partner with digital intelligence/analytics team to create and measure, and analyze and optimize email marketing related content performance in the various business channels Own product specific KPIs identification, measurement, reporting and performance Strategize with other marketing areas such as social and paid media to garner insights for email campaigns Partner with various business groups to understand their customers' consumption habits to best optimize and approach emailing efforts Enforce key emailing practices for deliverability and inbox placement SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE 4-year Degree in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Media, or related areas of study or equivalent work experience 2 years copywriting experience 2 years of experience in email marketing Working knowledge of enterprise-level ESP (Drip, Selligent, ExactTarget, etc.) Strong understanding and development skills for table-based HTML email, comfortable working directly in code Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for relationship building Detail-oriented and organized Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically for a variety of use cases Experience with responsive email development Proficiency in Google Analytics Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop Microsoft Dynamics CRM Data-driven dynamic content and personalization Marketing automation and/or transactional emails Knowledge or experience in writing SQL queries CASL and/or GDPR legislation compliance Thorough understanding of power sports business/industry a plus
