Research Associate III - 16-25 per hour Temp to Hire The Research Associate participates in the research and development of new clinical diagnostic products, evaluation of reagents (prepared internally or purchased commercially), creation of working prototypes of potential products, participation in the design and performance of internal and independent clinical studies, production of pilot lots of new product, production of a validated method which can be consistently manufactured, creation of documentation required for manufacture and QC testing of new products, participation at scientific meetings, compliance with regulatory requirements, and support required to attain regulatory clearance of new products. Also participates in the support of the company s current products. In addition, identifies new technology platforms that may be of interest to the company. Bachelor s Degree or Master s Degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related field. Skills should include immunology, assay development, protein biochemistry, biochemistry, basic science, design control and validation, literature review (including intellectual property), technical writing, and data presentation. This position requires 4-7 years experience with a Bachelor s Degree or 2-5 years experience with a Master s Degree. Experience must be in a laboratory setting. Must be able to work independently.
