Our client, the largest Managed Healthcare, for profit firm, is currently seeking a Marketing Communications Writer position for a 3+ month contract/temp-to-hire position with the opportunity for extension. This position is located in Virginia Beach, VA. The current staff is over capacity, and if this position is not filled, we risk missed deadlines, and jobs that are not contractually required will be deprioritized. Duties:

  • Responsible for providing creative and technical writing support for less complex marketing communication materials.
  • Assists in developing creative writing solutions that provide a consistent message about our company and products.
  • Writes, edits, and reviews content for traditionally printed programs (marketing collateral, trade publication advertising, direct mail, etc.) and/or digital programs,
  • Ensures all materials meet internal and external business and legal standards and follows appropriate corporate standards, guidelines, and approval processes.

Education/Experience:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree with a minimum of 1-2 years writing & marketing/communications experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Experience in health care or managed care preferred.
  • Proficiency in standard Adobe Creative Cloud Suite a plus.
