Works closely with the business and other Information Technology (IT) teams focusing on the processes of gathering, analyzing and documenting information requirements using standard data management tools and techniques for the creating, support and administration of database objects. Work is of medium to high complexity and moderate to high in risk. Has expanded contact with responsibility to varied and multiple departments and functional operations, and actively participates in strategic business relationships. Serves as an effective and key team member in various roles including serving as a team lead. Participates in the review and formation of work processes. May plan work and schedules for others on project-related work. Impact of decision-making is medium to high risk and impact. Serves as a consultant or expert and actively shares knowledge across workgroups. Applies information analyses to optimize the integration of major strategic business processes. Designs and implements complex changes impacting several processes with minimal direction. Primarily performs as an individual contributor, but may supervise a small work team (6 or fewer members).
4+ years of experience as an application database administrator performing the following on the DB2 z/OS platform: Backup databases, design, create and change objects, executing DB2 utilities, recover damaged tables from an image copy, grant permissions to database objects, SQL query performance analysis and tuning.
4+ years of experience with mainframe JCL and TSO.
Must be able to accommodate work hours that facilitate communication with remote team members located across the Globe.
Must be able to participate on the 24 x 7 on-call rotation.
Must be able to work from Moline, IL.

SAS, Apptune, BMC Catalog Manager, BMC Change Manager, BMC DASD Manager, SPUFI, QM
