Job Title: Sr. Pricing Program Control AnalystDuration: 3 - 6 monthsWork Location: Carpinteria, CABasic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree plus six years' experience
  • Master s degree preferred.
  • Candidate ideally should have an in-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Pricing methods and tools, and knowledge of Costpoint, ProPricer, MPM MS Project and EVMS.


  • Responsible for overseeing the proposal cost estimating and pricing activities for labor, material, services and/or overhead costs relating to proposed contractual efforts.
  • Structures commercial and government program cost control systems, and monitors and controls program costs and schedules.
  • Structures formal FAR compliant cost control systems, and Earned Value Management Systems on contracts requiring validated cost and schedule control system.
  • Prepares Earned Value reports as required and in compliance with ANSI 32 guidelines.
  • Ensures personnel are adequately trained on Earned Value Management methods, duties, and requirements as required.
  • Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
  • Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
  • Prepares program plans and works with Program Management Office to ensure program requirements, statement of work, tasks, and cost and schedule are integrated with adequate resources.
  • Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
  • Plans, organizes and manages pricing activities in support of RFI, ROM, and all other marketing and proposal costing/pricing.
  • Coordinates proposal cost reviews, generates proposal cost BOE and pricing review packages, and performs comparable cost analysis with previous programs.
  • Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
  • Manages change control and ensures customer directed changes are incorporated into the contract in a timely manner.
  • Works with the Program Management Office to capture program costs and maintain program schedule baselines.
