About the opportunity Calendly is looking for a UI/UX Designer in Marketing to join our fast growing team. This role will report to the Director of UX and work alongside the marketing team to design experiences that help grow our business. Our website serves millions of visitors every month and we are looking for an ambitious UI/UX designer to help us with creating an even more delightful experience for people who want to learn more about Calendly and how it can help them with their scheduling needs. We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who is user-obsessed and passionate about designing for the web and mobile. You'll work to refine Calendly's simplicity while applying it to new experiences that convert prospects to new users. And you know enough about front end web development to understand what you don't know, and ask the right questions to help inform the feasibility of your designs. Our ideal candidate is someone who has spent a significant amount of time developing their craft. Experience with Figma as well as CSS and HTML are huge advantages. Your role will be to balance business goals with user needs by validating user experience strategically and acting as collaborator to the rest of the marketing team. Some challenges you'll get to tackle Partner with marketing leaders to solve complex problems with design. Continuously build a deep knowledge of our users' goals and problems. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop thorough and thoughtful design solutions that are beautiful and pixel-perfect. Build interaction models, workflows, screen designs, and visual details that resonate with the Calendly user. Utilize your knowledge of design systems to make rational design decisions. About You You should apply if you have: A minimum of 4 years building and delivering digital marketing experiences in product-led B2B or B2C companies. Understand the levers that balance business goals and user delight, and how they affect the production of design solutions. Have a strong sense of typography, layout and space. Can distill complex problems into simple and understandable solutions, and then communicate those solutions to both leaders and peers. Have used research methods like a/b testing in order to improve your designs Have an online portfolio so you can show off to us your methodical thinking and beautiful design work.
