CafeMedia is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Marketing Director to develop and execute end-to-end marketing strategy for a newly launched line of business.

Using the same industry-leading solution as our AdThrive platform, CafeMedia Ad Management (CAM) simplifies the advertising ecosystem for premium publishers, enabling them to maximize their ad revenue while freeing them up to do what they do best: create great content. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, growing team that feels like a startup within the broader CafeMedia organization. This hire will be the first member of the CAM marketing team and must possess both the vision to craft our strategy and the experience to operationalize it. The ideal candidate is an eloquent storyteller and expert in growth and retention strategies capable of building a data-driven marketing practice designed to scale. S/he will collaborate cross-functionally with a number of stakeholders, including senior management and AdThrive Marketing, reporting to the CAM SVP.


Role + Responsibilities

  • Develop a holistic marketing strategy encompassing awareness, acquisition, growth and retention
  • Plan and execute CAM go-to-market strategy
  • Create CAM brand messaging and attributes, ensuring consistency and proper positioning
  • Plan and implement multi-channel marketing initiatives including digital, content and event strategies
  • Develop collateral and processes that support sales enablement
  • Establish marketing metrics and KPIs, leveraging data to optimize and inform future strategies
  • Build annual forecast and manage budget for all marketing activities
  • Contribute to broader CafeMedia branding and marketing efforts
  • Be a key player in building a huge business


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of marketing experience working in digital media or adtech - experience working with publishers or sell-side technology strongly preferred, growth marketing background a plus
  • Strong knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem and programmatic media buying/selling
  • Track record of success developing and executing both digital and offline marketing strategies
  • Highly analytical and metrics-driven with ability to measure and optimize across marketing tactics
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Team player with a growth mindset and drive to win
  • Bachelor?s or equivalent
