Job Summary This is a unique opportunity to gain broad experience, have significant responsibility for a variety of projects, engage with senior-level decision makers, and influence strategic business decisions.

The Business Insights Analyst will be responsible for the collection, analysis and communication of a wide spectrum of industry, competitive and other marketing information.

This role will also assist by leading product usage testing at our R&D facilities along with other locations on a regular basis along with developing questionnaires and field surveys for internal customers.

The Business Insights Analyst will also be leveraged to assist with both ad-hoc and monthly analytics for the Marketing Organization.

This role will perform analysis on professional end users, product and marketing programs identifying data insights to help better understand and drive business outcomes.

Reporting Structure The Business Insights Analyst will report to the Business Analytics & Insights Manager as a part of Financial Planning and Analysis.

There are no direct reports reporting into this role.

Key Responsibilities Conduct competitive performance analysis to assess an impact from other brands and stores and our strengths or weaknesses compared to competitors Recap economic reporting for senior leadership in conjunction with company-wide performance and regional impact Conduct in-depth evaluations of marketing loyalty programs to derive insights and propose recommendations based on findings Be proactive Voice of Customer within and outside Benjamin Moore using your knowledge and insights based on data driven market research and quantitative analyses that you personally learn, perform and direct Proactively analyze customer data to identify potential prospects, opportunities for engagement & product portfolio placements Provide ongoing business reporting & commentary along with presentation materials for the Senior Leadership Team including but not limited to Economic Reporting, Business & Competitor Performance Analyze and report on effectiveness of product results & marketing programs.

Collaborate with marketing to develop standard reports, key performance indicators and develop overall approaches on how to measure and report the business.

Develop various internal ad hoc requests and projects to assist and support Marketing, Sales, Finances and other departments Required Skills * B.A.

or B.S.

in Business Quantitative Discipline (Market Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Operations Research); MBA is preferred * 5+ years of experience required in key functional areas outlined above * Strong technical skills: Microsoft Office; data visualization tools (ie, Tableau, Qlik Sense); data querying tools (ie, Business Intelligence), Bloomberg, Survey Monkey, Qualtrics Experience linking multiple data platforms (social media, sales, etc) and with data visualization tools Intellectual curiosity, along with excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions Ability to work in a rapidly evolving environment, meet deadlines under pressure and quickly grasp new concepts by demonstrating and applying knowledge of these tasks timely and accurately Establishes and maintains effective relationships by collaborating with customers by fully understanding and meeting their expectations Seen as a team player that encourages collaboration and quickly gains trust and support of peers.
