Responsibilities

:
  • Inventory, consolidate and recommend the best way to go to market with our contacts in our existing database.
  • Analyze database health, cadence and recommend ideal contact strategies globally.
  • Design a governance process to determine how data can be updated in the Marketing architecture and institute a data cleanliness design.
  • Be an expert on deliverability, customer data quality and privacy/preference management
  • Collaborate with market expert consultants to build requirements and submit to vendors/IT for build.
  • Monitor cadence, establish ideal customer journey and contact strategy help program design outbound and inbound communications strategy and the suppressions/hierarchy to honor our customer preferences and cues.
  • Work with IT to understand key integrations and data measures to ensure compliance and accuracy in data quality
  • Required Education and Experience

    Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

  • 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor s degree in Business Management or Marketing or its equivalent or
  • Required Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years experience with marketing database operations.
  • Minimum 1 year experience of data analysis, reporting and presenting data.
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience creating, leading and managing marketing, CRM, and/or communication database campaigns.
  • SQL query experience is a plus.
  • Significant MAP (Marketing Automation Platform) experience a plus.
  • Able to visualize and share the story of why all types of data are critical to understanding Akamai s customer set and should be part of the marketing data architecture.
  • Expert in marketing data, database hygiene and customer relationship management function including customer base marketing, email marketing and/or mobile marketing.
  • Experience in suppression logic, communications hierarchies and opt-out/compliance across the globe
  • Understand and leverage key concepts of Modern marketing including customer centricity, customer journey and apply to technology and conceptualization of a marketing database.
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task in an unstructured work environment.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across teams and able to seek the optimal solution.
