Looking for Qualitative Usability Researchers - Will start as a Remote-Work From Home role initially and will eventually be onsite in Charlotte, NC once the day to day life returns to normalcy in the country - Not sure if this location is of interest to you

Role/experience:
Usability Researcher responsible for qualitative user research.
The usability researcher will assist HR UX researchers with developing research strategies and conducting research studies (usability testing, expert reviews, 1:1 interviews, observations and/or focus groups).
Ability to create personas, journey maps, service blueprints and fluent in creative PowerPoint design a must.
A solid understanding and extensive experience in user centered design, usability testing, and user interface analysis is a must.
Familiar with ADA compliance (WCAG 2.0 level A and AA), Workday, ServiceNow and Agile development is preferred.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist Interaction Designers/Information Architects with user interface layout and design components/widgets
Collaborate with Interaction Designers/Information Architects, business owners, developers, and graphic designers to establish test and research strategies for projects
Select and schedule test and research participants
Facilitate user testing and research
Analyze testing and research data, report results and propose IA/design changes or UI strategy suggestions through creative engaging and simplistic PowerPoint presentations
Assist with defining and evolving standard protocol, tools, techniques, and documentation/reporting templates for testing
Perform expert reviews of systems/applications and proficient in creating personas, journey maps and service blueprints diagrams
Educate business owners, developers, and others on the importance of usability and user-centered design (UCD), as appropriate

Degree in Usability Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, Industrial Engineering strongly recommended and preferred
